{Dero was nice enough to motivate me to make a posting schedule, so here's Diva! She's still in Haydée's body, so as soon as she came here, the uniform she had been wearing was gone. But still, she's sitting behind a desk with neat piles of paperwork, all in German. There's a bulky typewriter that takes up most of the desk, and a small desk radio that sounds like a German radio program, though Diva had turned it down quite a while ago.

She also looks surprisingly tired. She leans back in the wooden chair, putting her palms lightly over her eyes.}

Ne, it's really stupid. I really shouldn't care, shouldn't--

{But something said on the radio catches her attention, so she lifts her palms to look at the radio}

My, isn't that something? President Roosevelt traveled by aeroplane last week. I'm sure he was going to meet Mr. Churchill, actually. I wonder if Amshel or Solomon will be there too, actually~ It was winter when they met them, if I remember correctly...

But it's not so bad. It won't happen for several months, so unless I stay stuck in this Germany for a long time, nothing is going to happen. Josef was very kind to me.

Well, if this continues, then I'll end up in Vietnam. That's not much better.

[He runs his fingers through his hair.] No...I imagine not.

Well, that should be interesting if I go there, at least. It won't be as safe as I am here with Amshel, ironically, but I was treated like a Goddess. The Goddess, actually. Quan Âm is what they called me.

{She stretches lightly} It's nice enough with Josef, though.

Why was that, exactly?

Because I was like one, to them. With the Cinq-Fleches' pills that Karl and I brought to them, we healed their illnesses. With Our strength, there weren't about armies that could touch that village. And I wasn't human, they knew that. I could not die. So they assumed that I was the goddess of mercy, compassion, things that I didn't really have.

{She laughs a little} But that was why.

Why did your Chevalier use you that way? What was the purpose? [Isn't sure he's gonna like the answer]

Ah, so that they could use that village to test their new drugs. Josef made them, actually, using my blood. It heals any illness, but it will turn them into what you saw, eventually.

...I see.

That's just the kind of people that my Chevalier were. Just like your PANDORA or Syndicate, right?

[contract_star]

[Just nods.]

[madamemoiselle]

There's no reason to be sad about that! I mean, I never was, and I'm still not. That's just how things were for me. They got better for me, so I'm sure that things will get better for you too.

[contract_star]

[He shakes his head.] That kind of thing doesn't make me sad anymore.

Well that face, it's definitely not a happy one, right?

Just because I've gotten used to something doesn't mean I'm happy about it.
