[Rising tension] Unless--Wise One? Where are you? Is this your doing? Saturos! Menardi! Your threats I will bear without complaint, but this mockery is too much. Saturos! Alex? I swear to you, Alex, if you're playing games with me you will regret it!

…Jenna? [And, with an edge of desperation that can't really be labeled anything else,] Jenna!

[She raises her hands and makes an outward, downward motion with them, and the rock enveloping the boys sinks back into the ground. Toph curls her toes a little against the ground in case she needs to catch them both again.]

I'm sure. Why, then, did he try to draw you away so quickly? Ah, I know. Perhaps he didn't want something precious to be tainted by camaraderie with something he despises. [There's a quiet not-quite-smugness to him now, combined with the tension of someone expecting an attack.] But I would be careful of how deeply his protective streak runs, were I you. Particularly if you consider yourself a warrior.

He might try to keep you safe. He's a spectacular failure in that regard. Might get you killed--or, worse [yes, there's a layer of sarcasm on the word] kidnapped.

Isaac is quite experienced with the law of unintended consequences. Particularly consequences such as those.
