[a young bloke shows up on the Plane, cigarette in hand and staring at himself like he's got three arms. he turns around a bit, then pats at his gut, his cheeks, ruffles his hair, and finally takes a very long drag from his cig]

{Her smile softens a bit} But just because I'm curious to hear, what do you mean by Sam being "hardly a man's man"?

There's just something unnatural about a bloke wearing an apron and cooking up bloody Mexican food in his own flat.

It's very charming, though. Or cute. Either works, really. But I suppose that means that Gene would rather a woman cook?

My missus is a fine cook, yeah. Don't eat her cooking much, though.

I don't have time to go home, luv. She knows that. She spends time at her mum's, anyhow.

I guess as long as she knows, it's alright.
