[At a great big old wooden desk, that is suddenly appearing on the Plane, sits Dorothy. And she looks... well, sort of miserable, actually! That's different!
She's shuffling papers around at the desk, trying to sort them into piles and make sense out of the mess in front of her. It does not appear to be going well. Also on the desk are a large lamp (Tiffany?), a sprout of some sort of unidentifiable plant in a flowerpot, and a cold sandwich with one bite taken out of it. The sandwich-- roast beef on rye-- looks like it's been there for a while.
After a few minutes, she puts her head in her hands and just sighs. She could use a little help, maybe. Or just a distraction. Or a drink. Whatever!]

Everything all right?

I've got something for you.
[She pushes the flowerpot towards him on the desk.]
Guess what that is?
no subject
For me? Really?
[he examines the flowerpot, and he smiles a little, uncertainly]
It's a book, isn't it?
no subject
It's a lunchbox tree. Well, it will be, given enough water, sunlight, and tender loving care.
[She tilts her head, looking him over]
Thought for sure you'd get it right away. You must be distracted. What's up?
no subject
Is it? Oh, that's brilliant.
[looks over at Dorothy, grinning]
Thank you.
[and then frowns]
Didn't you say something about magical soil before? Will it be able to grow if it's not in Oz?

You don't know the half of it.
[And she's watching him holding the plant, because BE CAREFUL WITH THAT o_o]
no subject
[Noticing Dorothy's gaze, he chuckles.]
I won't drop it, you can relax.

[Which is apparently what's in the flowerpot! Aww, nice. Although she's still looking at it (and Crowley) sideways, as if she's ready to jump over the table and rescue it from smashing against the ground at any moment.]

Well, you know what they say, needs must, an' all that. I'm terrible at this stuff, but Uncle Henry needed the help, so. [Shrug.]

[Animals make Dorothy happy. Even when they're on the desk, sniffing at her plant. She reaches out to pet Cy, because... that is what one does to cats.]
Promised you a pie, didn't I?

Well, I think it was chicken pot pie, if I remember right.
