[Onto the Plane steps a young girl. She looks to be about seven years old and is dressed in black, flowy clothes. She looks the part of a high society girl.]

[When she notices where she is, her blank expression becomes one of mild confusion. She looks around as though searching for someone.]

This is not right. I am not where I am supposed to be. This place does not appear to be in the Romdeau servers.

Will someone direct me to the exit, please? Mama will not be pleased with my disappearance.

OK. Hunks of metal and wood and stuff? No brain. Can't think. It's just physics and engineering and stuff. If you're so sure, explain to me how things like that can think.

I don't know how I think. I just do. It's in my programming.

Then how do you know machines can think? If you can't give a reason for it, then you shouldn't believe it. You really need to think for yourself instead of just blindly believing what people tell you because it's "programmed". What does that even mean?

I know machines can thinking because I am thinking. That's all there is to it, right? [His questions are irritating her on level she can't quite understand.] Anyway, why would Mama or Papa lie to me?

No, then how do you know you're a machine? If you're not a machine, your argument doesn't work. And if Mama and Papa want to throw you out like you say, then I think a better question would be why wouldn't they lie to you?

But of course I'm an Autorave. What else would I be? And that's not a sufficient reason. I've already served my purpose as their child. Now they have a human child and I no longer have a purpose.

Let's look at the facts. You look like a human, you talk like a human... mostly, and you think like a human. Machines can't do any of those things and the only reason you think they can is because people tell you so.
