[There's a distinctly irritated looking Astrid pacing on the Plane. Her hands are gesturing like she's practicing a script, mouthing and quietly muttering the words over and over as she gets them right. Occasionally she shakes her head at the word choices, seems to backtrack and remouths them differently, hands firmly assisting with the annoyed dramatic effect, emphasising her rehearsed points.

She's not in her work clothes this time, she's wearing jeans and a pair of battered looking sheepskin boots, which make her seem even shorter. Given the clearly determined set of her jaw and the sharpness of her eyebrow, she's no pint-sized blonde to be messed with though. If looks could kill, you'd be a goner.

Approach with caution, particularly if you resemble the Tenth Doctor, Astrid's been doing some thinking...]

Screw you parallel universes, I don't give a damn. A year... a whole year, for what? 'Oh hey, you're alive, nice to see you Astrid' and that's it.

[apparently you pick up some choice language after a year on Earth. o_O]

Right, well, it's complicated. I accidentally got stranded on Earth, and I'm not from there, and I've been there for over a year now, on my own. Struggling to make ends meet, living through hell, trying to find the Doctor. So when I got here, it was amazing. I mean I found him, more than one of him, in fact. But nothing's changed, I don't know, it feels like 'Oh not my universe, not my problem'. Does he have any idea how much that hurts?

[cue her own blinking, which is more just staring, she was talking to a man a moment before]

Yes, I met him onboard the Titanic, and he was going to let me travel with him, but then it all went wrong. I'm not assuming anything, he did everything he could to keep me safe... he asked me to come with him.

Another stray? [rolls her eyes] He is far too eager to drag others along with him. I am certain he did not request my permission, either. I assume he did not take you with him, then? I cannot say I am surprised. None of you remain with him long enough for it to matter, it seems.

We got separated, I think he presumes I died. Oh I don't it's the same Doctor, he said he travelled alone.

All lesser species eventually die. You are no different. [tilts her head] Alone? I assume then you encountered his Tenth form? My Doctor most certainly is not on his own, though I would he were.

No, no I'm not ill. Just... [blinks to regain composure, which seems to make her eyes more glassy, so she looks away] upset. I'm sure I'll be fine.
