[A big tree can be seen on the Plane, it's roots seeming to dig into the 'floor' itself. Arthur is currently sitting under it, his bike a few feet away. He had a run in with the tree a few minutes ago when a sudden car horn startled him, and it's pretty clear who won.

He looks more than a little bruised, and is currently trying to wipe at a particularly nasty-looking cut, mumbling under his breath about reckless drivers]

[Hesitates] The...doctors. Not those in particular, but in general.

Let me see if I can scrounge up a first aid kit for you at least, get yourself cleaned up. You don't want to get anything infected, especially if you dislike doctors as much as it seems.

There's one of them who still acts very....excited when he talks to me, I assume because of who I am. It's a little awkward.

Well, I suppose that makes you sort of a celebrity, doesn't it? And you're still all right with the alien sort, despite the awkwardness?

I suppose, though I've never really had to deal with that. Well, except with the first Doctor I met, but we've continued talking since then.

The excited one is the third one I met. The second was you, and the first was him.

[Sheepishly] I confused him for the first Doctor, when we talked. Though I hadn't seen him wearing glasses before.

Half the time he wears them because he thinks they make him look clever. So which one scares you, the one with the Master or without?

Neither one scares me. It's just a bit easier to talk to the one with the Master.

Oh, yeah. I like talking with that one, too, the one with the Master. It's nice, he's easy to talk to.

The other one, we sometimes argue, but he's still all right, too. Despite things, they're both quite good, I think.

[furrows his brow]

Does that make me a narcissist, since they're sort of myself?

I doubt it. They're not really you, only similar. Different realities and all that. People with the same sort of interests tend to gravitate to one another, don't they?

I suppose, but still, it does seem a bit close to narcissism.

[shrugs]

You seem to like at least one well enough, though. So maybe it's reasonable, you seem like the reasonable sort. [points out Arthur's injuries] Except of course for this entire not seeing medical doctors business.

[pushes himself to a stand]

Don't go anywhere, I'll be right back.

[and he drops and reappears with a first aid kit]

[Arthur glances at his injuries, and you'd think from his expression he had forgotten they were there]

Yes, of course.

[first aid kit in hand, he sits back down under the tree]

If you want to clean it up yourself, I'll understand. I know you're not a fan of doctors.

[smiles] I would appreciate it if I could, yes.

[leans against the tree again, looking out onto the Plane to give Arthur any privacy he might need]

[concerned, but attempting to be nonchalant] So, have you seen the other me around lately, or the Master for that matter?

[A bit distracted, since he's focused on the wounds now] Not today, no. Why?

[scratches the back of his neck, then leans back against the tree] No reason really, just curious is all. It's nothing at all, really.

[sighs then tilts his head up, looking at the tree and wanting to change the topic] Nice tree you have here.

[Finishes cleaning up, handing the kit back] Thank you.

It's not far from where I live, actually, so I visit it quite often.

Oh, you're welcome. [takes the kit back and rests it next to him]

Yeah, I've always found a good tree always comes in useful.
