But I mean it about the interrogations, Mu. It's not pretty. If someone's getting interrogated, most of the officers think violence is an acceptable way to get answers. Fumie doesn't need to see that.

If you tell people to hold back or stop with the violence, that's not out of the ordinary for me, so go ahead with that. The line Gene won't let 'em cross is further along than mine. And if Fumie insists on an interrogation, make sure it's only the two of you, and, uh, 'forget' to turn the tape-recorder on. That way, they won't question her tactics, as they won't know about them.
