[Have a Romana and a rather cheerful one at that.

Even after considering the fact she is in her Presidential robes again (this time they're more of an emerald green with golden stitching up the sides), she's seated comfortably in an elaborate looking arm chair with some piles of books gathered on the floor. Legs tucked under the skirt and her shoes placed neatly by a close pile the Time Lord was quite content at the moment.

In regards to the books, most of the titles are in Gallifreyan while the rest are in others. A few select ones were notable ones of English and French, the titles varying in the languages from ancient text to classic literature to Peter Rabbit. And all the while she is alternating between some select books as she read, looking quite relaxed.

Oh and yeah - K9 is there too. And he's playing Beethoven's composition "Symphony No. 9 In D Minor" because Romana finally managed to fix that part in the robotic canine's programming.]

Oh, what a wonderful little dog! Hello there, pup! Who's a good boy!

[Never one to be cautious, she kneels next to the robot dog and gives him an enthusiastic petting. Even though he's, y'know, metal. And not furry.]

[Why hello there Dorothy! In hearing the other person talking, Romana looked up from the pages of er book, her chin resting against the palm of her hand to watch as the robot dog lifted his head up when the petting had started.

Oh, she doesn't say anything. The Time Lord just smiles a little to herself as she heard the familiar sound of the dog's ears whirling.]

Hel-lo. I am K9.

[I think "freaking adorable" just begins to cover it, yes. When he starts to talk, Dorothy's whole face absolutely lights up.]

Oh! You talk! Well it's lovely to meet you, K9. My name's Dorothy.

[And NOW she looks over at Romana. She gives a GREAT BIG FRIENDLY SMILE, though.]

[The "freaking adorable" robot bobs his head up and down once as if he was bowing and whirled his ears again.]

[Of course the whole time Romana is amused by the little scene. With a slightly warmer smile she nods her head once to answer Dorothy's question.]

Well, he's wonderful. Didn't know they made robot dogs like this! I mean, I've seen the little toy ones, but you're no toy, are you, boy? No you're not!

[And she scratches him behind his little radar-ears, because all dogs like being scratched behind the ears, even if they are robot dogs. :|]

He has been repaired for a while now, though I cannot say he hasn't had his days when he needed some rest. [She had this thoughtful expression, as if thinking about on those sad days.]

[The Doctor is rather surprised.] Well, it's been quite a while since I saw those robes. [And then he decides to casually look through her books.]

[Pointing at the book he was holding still without taking her eyes off her book--] That was the one that the Count had possessed, remember? Duggan had found it and gave it to me. [Turn the page ,wash your hands.] After spending hours with the Council in regards to negotiations within the Uphrades Sector I felt the need to read a few good books.
