[Enter the horse, tied to a tree and obviously displeased about it. She's strapped into a ratty old bridle and hobbled with rough leather straps. Aniki yanks at the rope holding her to the tree, unable to do much more than back up and tug angrily away.]

[There's a bit of blood on her side and more on her hooves. Except for a few shallow grazes, she's uninjured herself.]

[Ammy transforms to human as soon as she spots her and watches her from a distance.]

Are you injured, Aniki?

[It takes a long moment for the human side of her to swim up from below anger and instinct to reply in any sensible way. {Pride. Not flesh.}]

[Small smile.] I am glad that the injury is not physical, at least.

How are you, then?

[She yanks at the rope again. {Tied up.}]

I will release you, then. [Power Slashes through the ropes and hobble.]

[She startles back as they fall to pieces, sidestepping nervously. THAT WAS RATHER UNEXPECTED.]

[SORRY AMMY FIGURED THROWING A FLAMING MIRROR AT YOU WOULD BE FREAKIER.] There you are.

[Slightly alarmed still. {What?}]

You are free, are you not? ...Ah, I am sorry if I startled you...

[She shakes her head. {You did what?}]

That was my brush work! My god powers; specifically, the Power Slash technique, ruled over by Tachigami.

[SKJHSDJKFH Runs over to untie her] Aniki are you alright?

[She thumps her head against him, relieved to be loose again. {Not hurt. Angry.}]

[a concerned Remus approaches cautiously, wand out but pointed at the ground; he speaks softly, and gently] I wouldn't do that. You could hurt yourself.

[One ear swivels in his direction; she whickers and stamps. An unfamiliar face is not ideal just now.]

[raises his hands, palms out, wand between his fingers as he makes shushing noises] It's all right, I just want to help.

[And she steadies, a bit, still wary. She's fully prepared to give him as much hell as she can if he does anything suspicious.]

[offers a grateful, reassuring smile, before slowly raising his wand] I'll cut you loose, all right?

[She hesitates, then bobs her head in affirmation.]

[She backs away from the tree, hampered by the hobbles. All this magic without preamble--no warning light or gathering force--makes her uneasy.]

[the smile widens, slightly, though he still looks concerned] There you are. Now - I could clean those cuts, if you like.

[She twists around to try and peer at the marks, then looks back at him.]

[The Doctor comes over, instantly working at the knot.] You just have all the luck, don't you?

[She tugs at the knot, then moves forward and huffs at his neck nervously.]

[He reaches out and pats her absently as he finishes freeing her.] I take it that your friend didn't tie you there.

[She lunges back, away from the tree, and stumbles. Once she's steadied herself, she shakes her head and comes forward to press her nose against his neck.]

[He sways from the sudden push but he pets her muzzle.] It's all right, Aniki. I've got you. [He reaches into his pocket and digs out his sonic, waving it at the hobbles while he pets her. They fall off.] There, how's that?

[A few experimental steps, a sigh; she relaxes almost immediately now that the ties are all gone--well, relaxes a bit, at least. She's still tense and beat up and Not At All Happy.]
