[Misaki is in the Astral kitchen, doing... well, it's not entirely clear WHAT she's doing. There are pots bubbling over on the stove, produce everywhere, piles of dishes in the sink and the oven is starting to smoke out of both sides as though attempting to cry.]

[Misaki squeaks and opens the door, releasing a black avalanche of smoke. She starts coughing, squints through the black fog, and her eyes go wide.]

[Very gingerly, she shuts the oven door, switches it off, and leans her back against it.]

...oops.

[And she proceeds to have a gigglefit.]

Why would I want you to leave? You have as much right to be here as anyone.

Because it's weird. [A shrug. That's enough reason for people to not want him around back home. ... then a brow quirk at the last part.]

[She gestures at the mess.] I meant you couldn't make this any worse than I have. And 'weird' is pretty standard fare here.

Oh.

... You have a point on that last one. [But old habits are still hard to break. He glances around the mess, moves as if to take a step forward, then stops himself. Looks like he'll keep lurking near the edge of the kitchen for now.]
