[Having been absent for the better part of a month, a familiar face walks onto the Plane. Except... it's not as familiar as it used to be. First and most notably, since everyone becomes a badass in the future, his hair is a little longer than shoulder-length and pulled back into a ponytail. Upon closer inspection, the curves on his face have straightened out a bit, and he's definitely more muscular than last seen.

tl;dr: he looks just plain older.

Currently, he has the computer-glasses Yasako gave him—looking a bit scratched up, and with actual duct-tape keeping one of the earpieces connected—and is talking to his hand on the phone. Exasperation has him rubbing at his eyes, so he doesn't exactly notice where he's just stepped into.]

Look, Val. You can do it yourself. I've told you once, I've told you a thousand times. [Chris pulls his hand back, and is about to roll his eyes skyward, when—] I'm not your... errand... [The word 'ghost' dies on his lips before he even starts to utter it.]

No.. way...

(ooc: Hey, guys! Did'jya miss me? Back from my not!not-hiatus. To celebrate, an experiment has had Chris swapped with his ten-years-older future self from the crappy timeline we see in Danny Phantom episode, The Ultimate Enemy, which also means he's been canonbumped. Have fun poking at him?)

[Chris really isn't all that interesting, so he only glances up briefly before returning to his very ineffective grooming. Especially since by now he's probably a little stubbly, and sticky with dried saliva.]

[Have a blank look from Chris in return.] ... Me too.

[Notices the look and examines his own appearance.] I guess I look pretty strange. I've been on an uninhabited island for a few days now.

[Now he's trying to dredge up something like familiarity.] Wish I could have your luck.

[... he'll just be staring at the little girl, 'cause wtf. It's been ten years. This couldn't possibly be the same girl who gave him the glasses.]

Chris-san? Is something wrong? Gosh, those glasses must be glitching like crazy, huh?

Um... [He brings his hands halfway up, and by the time they reach, the glasses are already floating out into his hands while surrounded by a thin red glow. He shakes his head and folds the glasses before sticking them in an inner pocket of his coat.] It's a little annoying, but it's nothing major. You know my name?

[it doesn't take much for Isako to recognize the Denno eyeglasses on his face, and she glares at him intently. maybe a little more hostile than necessary.]

Where the hell did you get those glasses?

[Oh, he's used to the hostile looks. Have a blank one back, Isako.]
