{Diva appears on the Plane, sitting on an unextraordinary mail box and (since Dero told me to), now wearing a nun's habit instead of the Victorian clothing she was wearing only the other day}

Ne, after talking to the twins, I have something nice for everyone! Since without a merger, it might be hard to talk to people here, I thought it'd be nice if we could at least send each other letters. So, according to the Twins, as long as you put the recipient's name on your letter and put it in here, it'll get there. Oh, and packages too, but they said that the things inside can't be alive, alright? Just anything you'd send through the mail normally!

{She hops off with a smile, tapping the top}

I hope that it's fun for everyone! I'll definitely be writing a few letters for some people. ♥

It's volcanic. It happens in Hawaii, I think.

You've never heard of volcanoes?
contract_star: (it might be a puppy)

I guess I just assumed... Volcanoes are mountains with molten rock called magma beneath them. It's basically rock that has been superheated to the point that it's become a liquid. Sometimes volcanoes erupt and the magma spits out as lava. Since it's a certain type of rock, when it cools it turns black. Eruptions can be really dangerous though, since the lava and the ash can kill people or destroy areas. Mt. Fuji is a volcano, actually, though it's dormant.

Of course. A lot of land gets created by volcanoes, especially islands.

Well, no, they're not all that common. And in any case, you can usually tell when a volcano is nearby--or at the very least, you'd receive warning beforehand if it was going to erupt.
contract_star: (b-but I...)

[personal profile] contract_star 2009-01-21 03:09 am (UTC)(link)
Sorry...I guess it would be, huh? But really, there aren't many active volcanoes left in places one would normally live, anyway.

You're in Italy, right? I don't think there are any in Italy, don't worry.
contract_star: (false smile?)

[personal profile] contract_star 2009-01-21 03:30 am (UTC)(link)
That's too bad. But at least there are no volcanoes.

[personal profile] contract_star 2009-01-21 03:43 am (UTC)(link)
They're only really dangerous if you live near them.

I'm not sure. Why don't you ask him?
contract_star: (puppies?)

[personal profile] contract_star 2009-01-21 05:06 pm (UTC)(link)
I suppose that's true. Best to let it sit, then.
contract_star: (really a nice guy at heart maybe)

[personal profile] contract_star 2009-01-21 05:12 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm glad you're happy.
contract_star: (it was a bit funny actually)

[personal profile] contract_star 2009-01-21 05:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, I'm still half-expecting things to go wrong at any second.
