Ne, after talking to the twins, I have something nice for everyone! Since without a merger, it might be hard to talk to people here, I thought it'd be nice if we could at least send each other letters. So, according to the Twins, as long as you put the recipient's name on your letter and put it in here, it'll get there. Oh, and packages too, but they said that the things inside can't be alive, alright? Just anything you'd send through the mail normally!

{She hops off with a smile, tapping the top}

I hope that it's fun for everyone! I'll definitely be writing a few letters for some people. ♥

{Pronounced carefully} Volcanic? Why, I've never heard of that before.

{Shakes her head} Should I have?

I guess I just assumed... Volcanoes are mountains with molten rock called magma beneath them. It's basically rock that has been superheated to the point that it's become a liquid. Sometimes volcanoes erupt and the magma spits out as lava. Since it's a certain type of rock, when it cools it turns black. Eruptions can be really dangerous though, since the lava and the ash can kill people or destroy areas. Mt. Fuji is a volcano, actually, though it's dormant.

...That sounds really scary! Something like that really exists?

Of course. A lot of land gets created by volcanoes, especially islands.

[madamemoiselle]

...They aren't common, though, are they? That's really scary, Hei!

Well, no, they're not all that common. And in any case, you can usually tell when a volcano is nearby--or at the very least, you'd receive warning beforehand if it was going to erupt.

Well, that's a relief, then...Ne, I think I would die just of being scared. Mountains made of fire, that's really scary to me!

Sorry...I guess it would be, huh? But really, there aren't many active volcanoes left in places one would normally live, anyway.

Well, I'll hope there are none near me, then. Ah, and as long as Hei's beach isn't like that, it's alright.

You're in Italy, right? I don't think there are any in Italy, don't worry.

{Nods} In a church, yes. It's no fun at all, since no one will let me leave.

That's too bad. But at least there are no volcanoes.

That's definitely true! Ne, Amshel never told me about these "volcanoes"! They seem like a dangerous thing that I should have known about.

{She nods} Ne, but if I asked him now, I wonder what he'd say.

They're only really dangerous if you live near them.

I'm not sure. Why don't you ask him?

{She laughs} Then he'd ask where a random thing like that came from! How could I explain this place to my Amshel? He'd be scared for me~

I suppose that's true. Best to let it sit, then.

This Amshel isn't the same as my Amshel, though, I've realized. Well, it's before he changed so much! It was the next time I woke up, I think. He was very cold and distant. But the first few times, he really did treat me like his daughter. It was really fun!

And I'm glad that Hei is happy too! Ne, after everything that has happened for you, you really deserve it.
