[Hello Plane! There is a rather attractive, dark-haired young woman (with great cheekbones) sitting at your bar, drinking your liquor. She's everything you would imagine a starlet/celebutante to look like: flawless hair, manicure, tiny little designer dress, expensive shoes and fashionable sunglasses.]

[She's currently sipping absently on a martini of some nature, looking extremely bored. Or tired. It's hard to tell through the sunglasses, really.]

Probably a good thing. The Contractor gets pretty vicious when you piss him off. [a pause] I suppose I'll have to learn to avoid him for good, then. Can't come running to you every time, can I?

Certain people in his reality have supernatural abilities. Hei, in particular, is rather good at electrocution. [He winces involuntarily at the memory of it]

[Silence for a moment...this is a difficult question currently. When he speaks it's hesitant, because if the circumstances were any closer to normal he would NEVER ask something like this:]

There's no... there's really not a, a 'getting through it,' if you understand. It just... is. As for things from before-- [He pauses, looking distant.] Some of the buildings are still standing.

[This...calls for more wine. Crowley sits up and takes another swig from the bottle. Afterward he just sits there, knees bent, holding the bottle and staring down at it.]

[He shakes his head and drinks more himself.] It's... not so bad. Any more. At first I missed it a great deal, but I've been rather busy since then.

...I suppose somewhere in the back of my mind I realized there must be others. Of us. Multiple realities, multiple versions of people. I never really thought about what that would mean for those others.

[a short, humourless laugh]

Still can barely wrap my mind around alternate realities, and now I'm trying to rationalise why it should be fair that we got out of it and you didn't. How is that fair?

[He inspects the wine, looks like he's going to take a drink, and then sets it aside.] I wonder sometimes if I've simply gone mad. A field of stars, a version of myself who never experienced the apocalypse, a bar, a kitchen, books... you.
