[Brigitta is reading a book at the bar, mostly it appears to be going fine but occasionally she'll wrinkle her nose at the page for a few moments and occasionally she'll look extremely annoyed at herself.

Eventually she places the book (It's one on marine life for anybody interested) down and sighs loudly] I'm just wondering what saline is supposed to mean... I should be getting better at this.

[She looks around herself, sighs again and then hops over the bar to try and find herself a drink]

[Harley hops up suddenly on the stool in front of Brigitta.]

Most people don't go bringin' books to the bar.

[Rummaging around for a drink] they do, they're just not very noticable usually.

Gee, I ain't ever thought of that. Guess I don't pay much attention at bars. So whatcha gettin', toots?

Well, few people do, I'm just odd like that.

I'm not sure... [finds a bottle of beer and emerges from where she was searching] ah, this looks good.

[She grins.] Looks good enough for me, too. Pass me a bottle, would ya?

[Rummages for a few more moments and then hops back over the bar with two bottles, sliding one over to Harley] I'm Brigitta by the way.

[She takes the bottle with a grin.] Harley Quinn. Nice ta meetcha ya. So you a new girl in town or one of them oldies?

[Stares blankly for a few moments and then smiles again] I'm fairly new, only known about here for a few days or so.

Yeah? No kiddin'! [She pops off the bottle top and grins.] I'm sorta new too. Pretty wild place, ain't it?

[Flicks a knife out from her sleeve and starts on the bottle top] Definitely, I don't think I've ever seen anything as odd as all this.
