[She appears on the Plane with Appa and Momo again. Appa is asleep on the Plane floor and Toph is sitting back against him, cradling Momo in her lap. Momo is sitting there rather patiently, munching on some fruit and looking oblivious to his surroundings. Toph, on the other hand, looks rather subdued.]

I dunno, Momo. She's back now but...it's like she doesn't remember anything.

I dunno. I haven't seen the Aang here in forever, so who knows. The Aang in my world is just glad that Katara's back.

No way to know for sure since I haven't seen him around in the real world either, but what I do know is that I can actually focus on getting ready for the invasion without worrying about him listening in.

[She frowns a little and says nothing.]

Well hey, we got Aang and Katara back, now we just gotta get this merger thing workin' and we're back on schedule, right?

...Yeah. That invasion's all you think about, isn't it?

This thing is bigger than just us, Toph. Aang's gotta save the world. We don't do this right, there's not gonna be anything else to think about.

[Long pause. She sighs.] Yeah, I know. I know. Things have just been so crazy lately.

Besides, what else is there to think about really? Just about everything and everyone I care about is riding on this battle.

What else? Well, I dunno, how about this place? Like, what the heck is it doing here? How come we can talk to people from other worlds--I mean, hardly anyone here has even heard of the Avatar or the Fire Nation or any of it! A place like this, it's not supposed to be here, Sokka. Never mind that people can come here and then just disappear and not--not remember anything.

[She's frustrated more than anything, and not just with Sokka.]

Jeez, Toph. Maybe it's like I said when I first got here. Maybe we're all just dreaming and Katara and Aang just woke up. Sure this place is weird, but it's not like we lose anything by coming here. I don't really see a reason to think about it too much.

Particularly when we need to worry more about not dying.

[She folds her arms.] Something's not right about this place, Sokka. I can feel it.

[Long pause.] But you're right. We gotta work on that merger.

I still don't quite get how it's supposed to happen. We hung out a while back, then I went back to the real world and waited. Nothing really happened. You sure this sort of thing is for real?

Maybe. Ugh, I dunno. Just wing it and see what happens, I guess. What's the most recent thing for you? There's still awhile before the invasion for me, and I've been spending a lot of time here to keep it that way.

About the same for me. Now I'm just trying to get everything straightened out again. I was kinda at a loss, all by myself. Well, 'cept for Appa and Momo. Couldn't get rid of those two if I tried.

[Appa snorts at Sokka and Momo leaps onto Sokka's head and curls up like a hat. Toph can't help a bit of a smile.] Heh, I think they were lonely without you and Katara.

Same in my world. Except, by "you" I don't mean me, I mean you. Aang too. Appa really missed Aang even though he wasn't gone quite as long as Katara. Guess I shouldn't be surprised.

...Now that's weird to think about. We can both bring these two here, but we're both in different worlds, kinda. I wonder if we can both bring them here at the same time.

[Without another word, Sokka blinks out and then blinks back in with the Appa and Momo from his world. They are immediately confused to see themselves.]

Oh, this should be fun.

[Momo stares wide-eyed at other!Momo for a minute, then arches his back and hisses. The other Momo promptly does the same. They glare at each other and then sort of paw at each other until they realize the other isn't dangerous. Then they start doing the Momo thing, hopping around and investigating each other.]

[Appa, on the other hand, gets up, sniffs at other!Appa, who sniffs back. Then they both snort and lie down next to each other.]

[Toph has been laughing the whole while.] Ha, oh man, I needed that.
