[A rather large mound of snow and ice appears in an empty sector of the plane. It's not immediately clear who brought it, but then a familiar set of ears (and the head to match) emerges coughing and spluttering from somewhere near the bottom. Apparently there's another skill this regeneration didn't pick up on: sledding.]

... That was fantastic.

[free at last! he yanks his half-buried makeshift sled out of an adjacent snowbank and brushes it off, inspecting it critically]

Might have been just a bit deeper than it looked.

[Chuckles a bit] One of my friends made a mistake like that not too long ago.

[Crowley just shudders and shrugs his shoulders inside his suit]

...which I suppose begs the question of why I'm still in London.

[perfectly cozy lodged in his snowbank] You're not a people person, so that rules that out. The food?

It's winter in Crenallin. [as if that explains everything]

[Rose just stares trying hard not to laugh.]

I am, yeah. [positively beaming] Do you know how long it's been since it snowed here?

[Looks around and then back at him with a small smile.]

I don't but I reckon that you do, yeah?

Twenty-three years. Which in Earth years would be about, oh... ninety-seven. And a half.

[Blinks.]

Blimey, that's a long time!

I know. It wreaked havoc with the ecosystem.

And it's safer now?

A little. It'll take years to get back to the way it was, but it's a start.
