{Robespierre appears on the Astral Plane, giving the sudden change in surroundings slightly more attention than the book in his hands. For most, he seems especially out of place, wearing fine and stylish clothes---circa 1740. He does not seem surprised by the stars all around, but certainly interested.}

...A never-ending night sky? How magnificent.

{He closes the book and puts it securely under his arm as he merely starts to look at the stars quietly.}

It's quite the sight.

[Albus notices the new gentleman, whose attire looks to pre-date even his own.] It is, isn't it? [He adjusts his spectacles, looking around at the stars. Then he looks down.] Though perhaps unnerving at first.

[Albus peers at him, interested] By 'something of this nature', do you mean an unusual sky?

I only wish it were the former.

I've no concrete answer to give you, sadly, but what I do know is that this is a place that seems to bend reality .

As was I, alas this place proves us both quite wrong.

This is a concept much easier to illustrate than explain - I am from Greece, 1986.

[smiles a little] Then perhaps your adjustment to this place will come easier than that of most others. The majority of us have no experience with different planes of existence - [he pauses, slightly] - whether accustomed to magic or not.

More than that - I have met several colleagues of mine who have recollections of certain events that are far different from mine.

I am of a similar opinion, and yet here we are nonetheless.

By a rough estimate, I would say that there are 40 others who have access to this place. But it is hard to say, given that not everyone is here at once.

[bows his head as well] I am Mu. A pleasure to meet you.

[oooh, period clothing!] It's beautiful, isn't it?

I guess it is a really beautiful view.

This is the Astral Plane. If it has another name, I do not know it.

[identity profile] salvagestime.livejournal.com 2008-03-09 07:25 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, plenty of people can, really. It's the people who appreciate it that matter. [beams] I'm the Doctor.

[identity profile] salvagestime.livejournal.com 2008-03-09 07:45 am (UTC)(link)
Maximilien Robespierre? [looks surprised for a moment, then nods back] Pleasure to meet you, too. And, well, there's plenty of us around here, eh? We can all stand in the heavens together. [smiles] You're from France, correct?

[identity profile] bacchusprincess.livejournal.com 2008-03-09 02:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Ahahaha~~ [claps] Such a unique way to name the place~~ "Never ending sky" is it~? [looks around dreamily~]

[identity profile] bacchusprincess.livejournal.com 2008-03-09 05:10 pm (UTC)(link)
[chuckles] Indeed. Ah, how artistic~~ I like it~~

May I have your name~?

[identity profile] salvagestime.livejournal.com 2008-03-09 07:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Hm? Oh, thought I heard it before but maybe not. I travel around a lot and names just get jumbled up after a while.

[beams] Always did like France, though. One of my favourite places to go.
