[have part of a jungle, everyone. The Doctor has dragged several palm trees with him and a grassy area that fades to white sand beach and yes, even the edges of the water. So there's random water lapping up on the random beach with the Doctor sitting under a random tropical tree, staring up into space]

...Ohh, that's the Cassiopeia galaxy. Thought it was the Derred galaxy.

Quite a quaint qualm coming from the queasy quavering quarters of a quandom aquaintance, quitted in a quassia-esque quail-worthy quasar of collapsing. Quash your quixotic quest to quell the quaking quadrille quarrel -- Quickly call quits, or become quarentined in a quality quarry.

Again. [his face says, 'you've been served!'] Really, Doctor, you have to stop getting trapped in quarries. It's just silly.

Really, roping remarks requires real resourcefulness, ranging realms of readiness rarely recognized in recent rankings and reviews. Rousing random rhetoric runs risk of raising rumblings in rash residents, who refuse to refrain from ridiculously repetitive routines, regularly ruining recreational romps of repartee and raillery with ridicule and reproach, revealing repeatedly they’re rubes with reckless refutes. Resultantly, replies received will be relished.

[clicks his tongue in a very satisfied way] R is rather fun, Master.

[the Master's expression grows cold and closed off]

Freedom is fun. Fancy forgetting these fine fetters you've found fit to forge on me?

I thought not. You can't engage a prisoner to silly passtimes, Doctor. His hatred for the situation will overcome all else.

[just shrugs but seems more tired and plays with a fruit] Dunno why you insist you're a prisoner. [looks up before the Master can say anything] All right, yes, fine, I know why you do. What do you want me to do about it?

Let me be free. Let me be the Master, as I am, as I need to be. There is only mutual destruction for us if I remain imprisoned as I am.

[spins the fruit in the sand, then stops it] Except then what? Go back to fighting each other? That's mutual destruction, too.

Nonsense. Do you remember your UNIT days, Doctor? Trapped on that miserable planet with nothing to truly challenge your intellect? We did not destroy one another; we were each other's challenge. You lived for the freedom my plans accorded you and you know it.

[snorts but grins slightly] Even if I did, I wouldn't say that. [pauses] You want to be mutual challenges again?

I want to be free. I want to be everything that I am.

What about the people here?

What about them? What can I do to them free that I can't do chained? One way or another, I can hurt them. But my anger, Doctor, that dictates how inclined I am to destroy.

[thinks silently for a bit] I need to upgrade the locks anyway. So it's up to you, Master. You always liked a challenge, eh? [tilts his head] Do you need your things? I suppose it'd be easier that way, though...

You got to do a full body search. The least you could do is return my posessions.

[mildly] I didn't linger on it. [digs through his pockets and starts pulling out the Master's stuff] I'll have to make it harder, then, if you're getting your screwdriver back. [tosses him it]

[catches it] I'd rather an intellectual challenge than something silly and simple. Make it interesting.

Oi, I happen to be good at locks. You'll see. [pauses, then hands him the rest of whatever was in his pockets] There you go.

Have scones ready for me when I'm done.

[brightly] I might not even burn them.

I highly doubt that.

[snorts] Your confidence in me is overwhelming.

It matches your performance.

[raises his eyebrows] Is that a challenge to make good scones?

Is there any chance of you succeeding?

[very stubbornly] Of course I could! I can make tea and well... I used to cook a bit a...few regenerations ago. I can manage it. What kind of scones?

We'll see if you can manage plain ones.
