[have part of a jungle, everyone. The Doctor has dragged several palm trees with him and a grassy area that fades to white sand beach and yes, even the edges of the water. So there's random water lapping up on the random beach with the Doctor sitting under a random tropical tree, staring up into space]

...Ohh, that's the Cassiopeia galaxy. Thought it was the Derred galaxy.

Yep! I can, actually. That'd be the Milky Way, let's see... [looks around, then points off to the right] There it is. And see those ones off to the side, the really bright ones in the arm? That's Aries.

Aaah, that's where it is. [Here's a smile for you]

[smiles] Yep. Fond of that constellation, then?

It's sacred to me, actually.

Sacred? Are all of them sacred to you?

All of them meaning all of the constellations or all of the stars in Aries?

[laughs] All the constellations. I assume all the stars in Aries are sacred too, though, eh?

[Smile] Yes I suppose. But you're correct - all the constellations are sacred, but in my life, none is more sacred than Aries.

Why's that?

It is my guardian. I draw my power from it.

Ahh, is that right? [looks up at it and smiles] Must be nice. Powered by the stars!

I suppose it is quite nice. Really though, a majority of my power comes from my own body.

How's that work then?

Atoms. Everything from a rock to a planet to a sun is made of atoms. By that logic, ones body is made up of the same materials that caused the Big Bang. It is only a matter of causing those materials to react as they did at the birth of the universe - the resulting energy is what gives me my power.

[gives a low whistle] Atomic resonance theory. That's tricky to pull off. Most species can't do it at all.

You're familiar with it, then? I was trained almost from birth to do so. It comes quite naturally to me.

Mhm, well, I've heard of it. Never actually seen it. It's quite unique through all of space.

[Mu smiles and in a moment there's a bit of a thin gold glow coming off him. If you're psychic, definite pings] This is it's lowest stage. With effort, I or one of my peers could strip a large island of life in a matter of minutes. More time, and the island would cease to exist.

[oh yeah, that pinged] ...You've got a lot of power in you, yeah. You're psychic, too, eh?

If you'll pardon the ego, I'm one of the strongest psychics around.

[grins] We should compare notes sometime, then.

[Smiles as well] That would be an interesting experience, I think. In the meantime, I don't suppose you've a name?

[extends his hand] I'm the Doctor.

*takes it gently* I am Mu. It's good to meet you.

[shakes his hand] Lovely to meet you, too! You seem fairly interesting.
