[grabs his glasses, slipping them on, and does a search for the song. Downloads it, then tugs the glasses off, sets them on the table, and presses play so Gene can hear]

Don't make an habit of liking my music. [plays with the glasses until he gets "Wish You Were Here" on] Loved that album. Pink Floyd. [smiles distantly] "Shine On You Crazy Diamond," "Wish You Were Here," "Welcome to the Machine," and "Have a Cigar." Always skipped through the ending solo when I was younger, 'fore I got interested in guitar.

[looks up, dragging himself back to the present-past and wiping the smile off his face] Club then, yeah?

Well it wasn't much, just something I did in high school. Stopped by the time I became detective. [pulls on his jacket, buttons it up, straightens out the sleeves, and only then walks out the door]
