[Jolyne has once again been canonbumped, which means her life? Has just gotten a little bit more messed up. How so, you might ask? For one, she's been thrown into an ultra security prison ward, which isn't the nicest place to be. She appears on the Plane lying rather listlessly on a long wooden cot and looking far more worn than usual; the natural light of the area makes her squint and she shields her eyes until they can adjust.

At any rate, this is a pretty good opportunity to get some decent food that isn't bug-infested or growing on the wall, so Jolyne stands up... and almost immediately has to grab onto the cot for support.]

The upside, at least no one's gonna miss me while I'm here. [She pushes away from the cot and takes a few shaky steps.] ...The downside? At this rate I'm never gonna find that thing. [Mutter mutter]

Hold up a moment, I think you just mentioned unwinding part of your body and the phrase 'stand users,' which is unfamiliar to me. Do I get an explaination?

[And with that, she holds her hands apart as if playing cat's cradle, and it certainly *does* seem like she is... with the exception of the string involved being an extension of her fingers and looping itself up and over what remains of her hands of its own accord - and a rather fibrous hole forming on the backs of her hands.] Like this, only on a larger scale. The stand user bit involves her. [Here, one end of the string loops outward and forms into the shape of an arrow. That's some very advanced - psychically controlled? - molecular manipulation. Particularly as it uses your own substance, and humanoids tend to be difficult species to work with.

Uh. I guess so? Different stands have different abilities, so I'm not really sure what it is. Hermes can duplicate objects, Weather can control well, the weather... [Shrug] I wasn't born with mine, like Weather or my dad.

It has something to do with this rock inside a necklace my dad sent me. He never got around to explaining about it, though.

Well, it was more the stone thing inside, but... [Shrug] I chucked it after that, but even though my cellmate wound up finding it, I don't know what happened to the stuff inside.
