[Jolyne has once again been canonbumped, which means her life? Has just gotten a little bit more messed up. How so, you might ask? For one, she's been thrown into an ultra security prison ward, which isn't the nicest place to be. She appears on the Plane lying rather listlessly on a long wooden cot and looking far more worn than usual; the natural light of the area makes her squint and she shields her eyes until they can adjust.

At any rate, this is a pretty good opportunity to get some decent food that isn't bug-infested or growing on the wall, so Jolyne stands up... and almost immediately has to grab onto the cot for support.]

The upside, at least no one's gonna miss me while I'm here. [She pushes away from the cot and takes a few shaky steps.] ...The downside? At this rate I'm never gonna find that thing. [Mutter mutter]

1940's? Ah...well, you see, I am never quite sure how to count the years. Humans do it differently depending on where they are, and then other things count the years in completely different ways. So, 1940 could really be any number of years.

Although I can safely say that I have not experienced something like a war that encompassed the entire world while I have lived.

Huh, yeah. I guess that's true. I never really thought about it before... well, I gather it was kinda a shitty time to be around, anyway. My... great-grandpa was alive around that time, and uh... yeaaah, I've heard stories. Weird ones.
