A word game. It's simple, really.

Of course it is! It is a game.

Here's how it works. Pick a category. It can be anything. Animals, vegetables, furniture... Something general. And then name something in that category. The next person has to name something that begins with the last letter of the word you just gave, but it has to be something from within that category, too.

So if the category is animals and I sat 'Dog', you have to name an animal that beings with the letter 'G'.
