Constellation 01
[Arthur seems quite startled as he appears on the Plane. For a moment, there is a look of confusion on his face, but it soon changes to one of delight] Oh, this is brilliant. Don’t recall having a dream like this before. [Gazing up, he begins to see what stars he can recognize] There’s Arcuturus, then Rigul. I don’t recognize any in that particular cluster… Even in the country, you can’t see stars as bright as these.
[Then he looks down at the ‘floor’. Rather than being scared that he is apparently walking on nothing, Arthur kneels, grinning as he traces constellations with his finger] There’s the Diamond of Virgo; Arcturus, Spica, Denebola, and Cor Caroli. The Big Dipper, of course. [then a frown as he pauses over a particular group of stars] Hold on. This is the Great Square of Pegasus, isn’t it? Shouldn’t be able to view these two at once. Diamond of Virgo is for spring, the Great Square of Pegasus for summer…..
A bit worrying, if my dreams have such simple mistakes.

I'm sure you'd have been quite happy to whore yourself out for science. "Will shag for molecular physics."
no subject
[Exasperated.] Do you two quite mind?!
no subject
no subject
Well, go on then, Doctor. Spoiling my fun, as always.
no subject
[Meanwhile he sounds much, much less flustered] Yes, well, Arthur, what I was trying to say is that if there is something you want to know, science related, I'm quite happy to tell you, free of charge.
no subject
You won't have me torture people, or- or whatever he thought I was offering?
no subject
We both know what you were offering, Arthur. But it's true. The Doctor here is a slag, not a whore. He'll do anything you want for no charge at all. Me, I'm a capitalist at heart. Can't help but make things into a business. But the Doctor likes communism.
no subject
I am not! [But then he turns back to Arthur.] But no, no torture, please. Just old-fashioned learning.

Ignore him, Arthur.

no subject
Well, since you like learning so much, now you know.
no subject
I think we'll stick to the mathematically based sciences.
no subject
Democritus came up with the atomic theory....
no subject
I was always better at maths than you were, Doctor.
no subject
{Master, stop that!}
I believe I'm more than good enough for this, Master.
no subject
Are you okay?
no subject
{Something wrong, Doctor?}
[the name, when he thinks it, is drowning in sensuality and a love of pleasure]
The Doctor is just fine, Arthur. Aren't you, Doctor?
[and he smiles a slow and smooth smirk, lips curling, showing the hint of his canines, and he glances at the Doctor sideways as if to declare that he will devour him]
no subject
{You know exactly what's wrong because you're causing it.}
[His voice over the link is sounding rather heavy, while amusingly his actual speaking voice hits slightly higher.]
Ah...fine, yes, I'm fine. Really, Arthur, no worries. Just a...headache. Erm, of sorts.
no subject
Looking completely embarrassed, now a bright shade of red, he takes a step back] Well, I should, ah, leave you two alone, then, wouldn't want to, interrupt.
no subject
Not that much of a virgin, then, are you?
[and he releases his hold on the Doctor's pleasure centres, though not his hold on the Doctor's neck]
no subject
Oh honestly. He's just doing it because it's funny to him.
no subject
All the better if he's focused on you and not me. [mumbles, then more loudly] I wouldn't mind leaving. Walking off. Just giving you space, really.
no subject
[strokes the back of the Doctor's neck with a sort of lazy luxury to it]
