Constellation 01

[Arthur seems quite startled as he appears on the Plane. For a moment, there is a look of confusion on his face, but it soon changes to one of delight] Oh, this is brilliant. Don’t recall having a dream like this before. [Gazing up, he begins to see what stars he can recognize] There’s Arcuturus, then Rigul. I don’t recognize any in that particular cluster… Even in the country, you can’t see stars as bright as these.

[Then he looks down at the ‘floor’. Rather than being scared that he is apparently walking on nothing, Arthur kneels, grinning as he traces constellations with his finger] There’s the Diamond of Virgo; Arcturus, Spica, Denebola, and Cor Caroli. The Big Dipper, of course. [then a frown as he pauses over a particular group of stars] Hold on. This is the Great Square of Pegasus, isn’t it? Shouldn’t be able to view these two at once. Diamond of Virgo is for spring, the Great Square of Pegasus for summer…..

A bit worrying, if my dreams have such simple mistakes.

You can't be a vampire. It's not possible.

{She grins, showing her fangs}

[stares, but still not quite willing to give in] But drinking blood, it makes no sense.

Blood doesn't carry the necessary nutrients for a human body to survive; it's made up of mostly water, isn't it?

{She shrugs}

I don't really know about that. Amshel said that a reason that I drink blood is because I don't make my own, but I don't know if that's true or not.

Do you survive on only blood, or do you intake food as well?

[madamemoiselle]

Well, I can eat human food, but I usually can't taste it. Just blood! My body is much more efficient and better than a human's, after all, so I don't need to do things like sleep, get sick, things like that.

How much blood do you require, normally?

Enough to kill a person every two weeks or so.

[eyes widen, before he frowns] You kill them?

[madamemoiselle]

Well...not anymore. I used to, and I killed lots of people, but...coming here, I met a person that hates that. And because I love them, I want to make them happy. So...I get blood transfusions now.

[he gives her a small smile] I'm glad to hear that.

A lot of people are, apparently!

{She laughs a little} Ne, it's funny because I never really thought much of it until I started to...well...not take people's blood.
