He also keeps squirming in his seat, shifting and crossing his legs, muttering something under his breath]

I'm not depressed! Mostly just miserable, and annoyed at Crowley.

[ff, uncomfortableness] He was a demon, and apparently succeeded in tempting me. Because I did not will this myself on purpose. I don't even know how humans handle such constant thoughts. It's no wonder the poor things have so much trouble getting through the day.

So why not just give in? Like, I get that you're an angel and all, but you can't be perfect all the time. I mean, you're drinking.

[pours a cup for himself, not hesitating in the least before downing it all down] It's more than that. Crowley's a friend, and our superiors probably wouldn't be thrilled.

Meh, what's the worst they could do? Send you to Wisconsin?

They could declare me Fallen. I can't be a fallen angel, that would make me a demon. I'm rubbish at torturing and tempting mortals; probably wouldn't last a day, much less eternity.

Or they could send me back to heaven. The other angels would never let me live it down. And I can't imagine that Gabrielle would be too pleased, especially after that whole flaming sword fiasco; he refuses to stop bringing that up every time we talk. Oh, and the Voice of God, can't imagine he'd take lightly to it, might even forbid me to return to Earth, and- [He's just going to stop there, because talking is making him more flustered. Instead, he pours himself another glass, looking miserable all the while]
