[Handy arrives on the Plane in a much better state of mind than he was last time he appeared. He is a little annoyed with the Proper Doctor for inviting him to travel without first properly considering the fact that their realities are not merged. Still, he is in a fairly decent mood.

He remembers finding the Doctor on the Plane with a chair and some books and has decided to follow His example. Upon arrival, Handy is lounging on a sofa, nose buried in a book, “1812: The Catalyst to Canadian Independence.” He may have ‘borrowed’ the sofa and some books from a bookshop for use on the Plane. Either way, he is proud of himself for managing to get it all here.

On the end of the sofa at his feet are various other books, which he promptly kicks to the floor so he can stretch out his legs. The books are mostly biographies and historical texts. He is still a bit foggy on the history of the parallel Earth he’s on now, so he’s decided to utilize the Plane and take this opportunity for some much needed reading.

Despite the fact that he has no idea how the book will end, it is still incredibly boring. He’s being stubborn and refuses to move on to another book until he finishes the one he is reading. He is fighting the urge to fall asleep. If he continues reading, it will most likely be a losing battle.]

[happy he brought so many books, he says nothing and just throws another book at the Master, knowing he'll either have to catch it and let go of his feet, or get hit in the head with a hardback book. both options are good]

[well, since you ducked, that means your face is close enough that he hopes he can at least swing his held feet up enough to make you hit yourself]

[yeah, that was the Master's nose. Now the Master will be attempting to hold Handy down on the couch]

[Now he will be attempting to roll over on his side, so he can push the Master off the couch]

[these young children with the minds of 1000+ year old aliens - SO THEY SAY - thus go tumbling off the sofa together. The Master seeks to end up on top!]

[PAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN. It's painful. Like....painful! So he's just going to busy being in pain for a minute here]

[AHAH! The Master stands, for he has regained the literal, if not moral, high ground]

[What moral high ground is this? Well, Handy just lays and glares at the Master for a minute before grabbing onto the sofa to pull himself back up.]

Much better, I think.

[lounges back on the sofa again, still glaring]

I'm sure.

[smirk]

Would you like me to leave?

[glare]

I would like you not to do that [points to his temple] for starters.

So you want me to stay.

When did I say that?

I asked you if you wanted me to leave; you made an unrelated request that, were I to fulfill it, would in ways require me to stay here. I can only infer.

It was a segue. You asked if I'd like you to stay. I thought it was more important to establish the fact I don't want that happening again. Since, more than likely, you'll stay or leave based on your own whims, and not what I want.
