[Henrietta has been feeling a bit stressed lately, and so, to relieve that stress, she has created an obstacle course with her Angelic Powers of Making Things. There are climbing walls, nets to crawl under, things to swing across--all of the cliches of military training movies, with one exception; the consequences for failing these obstacles is a touch more dangerous than falling in the mud. The swing rope goes over a pit of spikes; as she climbs the wall, the slats fall down behind her. With each obstacle the consequences for failure become a bit more severe, until the last one has her rolling out of the way of a crushing block of stone and across the finish line.

She scrambles to her feet, looks back, and goes to check her pulse--only to realize for the first time that she's not breathing.]

[Of course, Chris is hoping whatever she comes up with will distract her long enough for him to come up with a spell to take out the really dangerous stuff if she doesn't do it herself. :|]

[She hugs herself] I miss Triela.

... Triela?

Triela. She's one of the cyborgs. [wiping at her eyes again] I miss her. I miss Rico. I really miss Signore Jose. I really, really.... [crying now]

H-hey... [fhsdkln CRYING. D: He kneels down.] Don't... You'll get to go back home, okay?

I w-wish the Twins would leave me alone. I'm just causing trouble like this. I liked it, at first, but then that angel came and signore Crowley had to make a deal and it's all my fault.

[Make a deal?] ... I know. But how is it your fault? You just said it yourself. The Twins did this.

But the angel came for me! And signore Crowley got knocked through the wall and now he can't make things any more.

[... oshi—] Came for you because the Twins changed you. You couldn't help that.

B...but I could have traded instead.

Traded what?

He says Heaven can't find me now, but he had to let the Twins take away his power to make things.

[He resists the urge to pinch the bridge of his nose, but he does close his eyes momentarily.] ... That was his choice.

But he keeps helping me and doing things for me and I haven't earned them at all and I just keep making everything worse!

First of all, you don't have to earn anything. Second of all, it's not your fault.

[fffff] But I haven't done anything for him. Anything at all. I even hurt him before, but he still tries to help me.

Maybe you don't think you've done anything for him. But... don't you think he's the better judge of that?

[Hesitant look up at him] Do you think so?

[He nods.] Yeah, of course.

[fidget] But how do I know, then?

Do you need to?

[ D8 ] Of course!

Why?

Because... it's important.
