[Martha's covered in grime and unidentifiable sludge, her clothes are torn, and she's bleeding in a few places - she's also got splotches of a black sticky liquid that some of you might recognise as Weevil blood on her clothing. All in all, she is not an especially happy person, seeing as how she's just spent her Friday night trudging through Cardiff's sewers. She sits down on the "floor" of the Plane and uses some of her first aid supplies to attempt to clean and bandage the wounds - luckily, there's nothing severe enough to warrant stitches.[

God, I need a bath. Maybe a bubble bath. With some candles and a bath bomb from Lush and a glass of wine. [snort] And a night off.

Promise me you're at least trying to be careful.

[wryly] Turns out horny Weevils are very aggressive and territorial. And they like human women.

C'mon, when have I ever not been careful?

[a little disturbed] Horny weevils? Do I even want to know what happened there?

[delicate cough] Ah, no, you probably don't. [is that a hint of a blush on Martha's cheeks?]

[he might be a little embarrassed by the entire situation as well, so there might be a matching blush] Well, nothing too indecent happened, I hope.

Oh, no! [shaking her head emphatically] Gwen tranquilised it before things got too far, thankfully. It had me backed into a corner for a few moments, though. That was scary.

[sigh] Well, that's a relief at least. Good thing Gwen was there. [a little awkwardly] And that entire mating need has died down, I hope.

[raised eyebrow] The spores only affected the Weevils, Doctor.

Right. Good. Can't be too careful.

[slightly amused smile] Maybe I ought to start wearing a facemask while I work.

Oh, you don't want to do that.

Why's that, then?

Well, I don't know. Because I say so? [shrugs]

[chuckle] You're the one being overprotective, not me.

True. [nods] All right then, I change my mind. Face mask it is. At all times. Helmets and elbow and knee pads too, just to be on the safe side.

[eyeroll] Now you sound like my mum.

Don't say that. Especially in front of your mum. I'm not sure how she'd take the comparison.

Oh, not well at all, I imagine.

I wouldn't think so.

Still, she's right, you should be careful.

[siiiiiigh] I am careful. I know how to handle myself, Doctor.

I'm allowed to worry, aren't I. [gives her a look] Horny weevils?

There were four of us there! The situation was perfectly under control. Well, mostly.

Right. That's what those bruises say, too. And [looks at her hair,finding a piece of that unidentifiable sludge] whatever that is.

[she wrinkles her nose at the sludge] I was in the sewers, Doctor. I don't even want to think about what that could be.

[wipes his hand on the Plane floor] Right. Neither do I, so we'll just forget about it. [looks at Martha] But still, be careful.
