[Fumie appears on the plane, looking tired and grumpy. She's dressed in pink pajamas and after a minute of staring around the plane, she decides to just speak. You'll note she doesn't have her glasses.]

There are coffins standing outside my house. Usually this would be really scary but I want to go back to bed. Anyway it's less scary after wandering around in it...

Yes. I was really worried but she's all right. Isako was hurt, too, I think. And Densuke... [fidgets] I have to get Yasako back soon. I don't even mind if I have to go back to where she is!

Fumie.

[takes her hand]

[melodramatic speech time aside, she just grumps a bit and scoots closer]

Sometimes this place is a real hassle, isn't it?

More than sometimes.

[frowns]

Fumie. If I needed to network some mobiles with the glasses, would you be able to do it?

[tilts her head and automatically reaches for her glasses before putting her hand in her lap]

Ah, that should be easy enough. You can set up spaces and work on them pretty easily. It's nothing for a hacker like me. Do you want a secure network or something like that?

[nods]

I need to work out one that can allow transmissions across all mobiles at once, and mobile-to-mobile communication. I might also need a system of routing data back to a central control,, and someone at that central control sending out messages to get people where they're needed.

[...hey, he thinks Fumie knows what all these terms mean]

[she does, in fact!]

I can do that. I'll set up a network and you'll have to give me who you want keyed into it. I can have a firewall up and guarded if you want, too.

And you could manage the network with other people?

I could ask Yasako to help me. Minato, too. [leaving out Daichi B|]

Ne, what do you want it for?

[looks down, then, thumbing the leather of his Cubans]

I'm going to do something very dangerous, Fumie. I know I said I wouldn't, but I have to. And if it goes the way I think it will go, I'm going to need to keep a lot of people in contact. Or else... or else it'll be worse than it might be.

[she frowns and moves a little closer, staring at him]

You just have to keep your promise. And...I can help by setting up the network, right?

I'm doing everything I can to do just that, Fumie.

[takes her hand and squeezes it]

That's what I was hoping for.

[she'll be sitting close to him now and holding his hand]

...All right. I can keep the network running and secure. There won't be any rely-delay time, either. We'll keep in contact too, right?

Of course, Fumie.

[she gives a nod]

When do I have to be ready?

Soon. Less than a month.

If I got the mobiles, could I give them to you at dinner tomorrow?

[she nods!]

I can do it! I'll come by a little early probably just so I can do a few test runs on them. Then I'll get my team on it.

[squeezes her hand]

[she smiles at him just slightly]

I should be telling you that. It's not very fair to take my lines. ...You be careful, too.
