[Cy has brought.... a cliff. She is sitting at the top of it, watching a chunk of the ocean below gradually eddy into stillness. There's a winding path to the top, framed by gorse and ruins; Sam, in fact, might recognize the place. Or at least this little part of the place, seeing as she's brought a slice of Tintagel. A slice that will most definitely be returning to her world when she leaves.

She kneads the ground for a moment, singing nonsense to herself before she lays down, rolls over, and walks to the edge of the cliff.]

And when I crumble who shall remember
This lady of the West Country?

[Rolls to her feet, looking up at him tiredly.] This is the place where I died, Nancylocks.

[now at the top]

You haven't died, Cy.

Did. [Staring at the water again] Not with them. He cast them off, he burned me up.

[picks her up and pulls her away]

Can you feel me?

[Blink] 'course I can.

[didorothy]

Then you're alive, aren't you? Not 'burned up.'

The Alchemist killed his proxy. He killed his cats.

[Huddles against him.]

Isis is gone.

You showed me Isis.

[pets her and holds her]

She went out in the dark and didn't come back.

It's not the same. [Kneading worriedly] It whispers on the Old Ways, it twists and cracks and kills, and Ace is out there running them. It's not the same. Something's different, something's wrong.

Can you talk Ace into not running those roads?
