[have a less than pleasant re-entry to the Plane on the part of one shinigami!
Tsuzuki pops in, looking for all intents and purposes, fine. He's cradling his right arm and wincing, and his left eye is shut to prevent blood from trickling into it from a large cut on his forehead. His trenchcoat looks fine, but wet-- It's not buttoned, it never is, so a glimpse of his white shirt underneath his trenchcoat and suit jacket would reveal a lot of blood.

He was already kneeling when he appeared, but he now feels safe enough to fall back and sit down. He squeezes his right arm with his left hand and grimaces before leaving the arm to hang at his side. He then pulls open one side of his suit jacket to peer at his abdomen and winces, more from the sight than from pain. He then leans backward and supports his weight on his good arm, settling in for a wait.]

Ow.

[Thinks of hitman babies and growing turtles and dying will bullets..] Yeah, there are probably a few things that would. We probably share some stuff though. Do you have illusionists in your world?

...Illusionists? Like Houdini?

No..not stage magicians like that. I meant real illusions that some people can cast and use in combat.

[considers] Well...there aren't too many people who specialize in illusions like that. Tatsumi does shadow magic, which he can use for visual tricks, but not actual illusions. ...I can...sorta make illusions with a few different spells, but it's not my strong point.

I guess it makes sense that a shinigami would know how to use magic. Who's Tatsumi?

Hmm...there are some odd things in my world, but nothing outside of illusions I would classify as outright magic.

[pause] ...But I guess he's also kinda my boss. He's scary sometimes.

Well, that doesn't surprise me too much - unless someone was born with really strong spiritual powers and learned how to use them while they were alive, for the most part the only people who can use magic are. Uh. Dead. [shrug] ...So.
