[Bai is at the bar, apparently trying to get drunk... She's failing rather badly at this goal.

Why? Because she's only poured one glass of red wine, which still seems very full... And is not drinking but staring at the bottle rather suspisciously and occasionally making muttering sounds
] I swear it used to be easier to drink then this... Hm...

[Sets the bottle down and keeps staring at it] What's malic acid anyway? I didn't think you were supposed to drink acid.

Not all acid eats people alive, despite what the movies show you.

Otherwise we'd have a pandemic of killer oranges.

And what does it matter now?

[He holds the glass up and looks at Bai questioningly]

Mind?

What, acid?

[He lifts the glass in a little salute and drains the entire thing in one go]

Ah, that. People give science too much credit these days. [he sets the glass down and fills it up again from the bottle] Though it does make for some fun little toys, I'll admit. The technology these days is brilliant.
