[Adric is lying on the Plane floor, seemingly absorbed by alternating between concentrating on the constellations around him and flipping through an astronomy book in front of him.

He's also occasionally making notes on his notepad when he sees one he finds particularly interesting.]

[Have a familiar Time Lord crouching to the floor and settling down beside Adric, legs tucked under the length of the coat she wore. Romana looked up at the constellations above, smiling a bit.]

You still allow yourself to get lost in the wonder of that vastness that is the Universe?

[Adric glances up at her and returns the smile.]

There's so much out there, Romana. It's hard not to. Where's this one? [Pointing to one of the constellations in his book.]

[She takes the moment to study the constellation in question. And then, without even batting an eye she looked back to the sky and lifted her right hand, pointing to it.]

Look to the left of that the third star to the north. See it?

[Follows her gaze, nodding after a short moment.] I see it. Is there any part of the universe you can't see from this place? I haven't managed to find where it stops yet.

[She drops her hand to her lap.] The Universe is always expanding, Adric--an endless space.

I'm writing about the constellations here. If it wasn't for the lack of a vacuum I'd almost think they were real.

Well, we'd be dead if it was real space. Or at least most of us would be.

Well, we're surviving here well enough.
