[Handy doesn’t appear on the Plane, as much as he is walking the Plane.  He hasn’t left since he found Reinette earlier.  His clothes are stained with blood, as are his hands.  He has been walking aimlessly.  Still shaken from what happened.

Finally he stops.  Not wanting to walk anymore.  His legs are tired.  He is tired.  He sits down.  Relieved to be off his feet.  Crossing his legs, fingers tapping the floor, eyes studying the stars below.]

Not that I recall. Does it bear any resemblance, the constellation and the namesake?

Well, the constellation is called 'the cat'. It has a tendency to disappear for a decade or two, Kora says, and then poof! Back, with no flash or warning. [She gestures with her glass for emphasis.] Pounce, he's a black cat. Purple eyes. Hard to miss, unless he wants you to, then he's like a ghost's ghost.

Sounds brilliant. They have anything close to in this place? [Puts his glass aside, and lies on his back] Cats have a tendency for that ghost's ghost business. At least that's what it seems like.

I've no notion. Wouldn't be surprised, but the way those 'stars' move, s' anyone's guess.

He can talk, too. [Sets her own glass aside and crosses her arms behind her head.] Though half the time I can't tell what he's saying. Only can understand him if he wants you to, that Master Pounce.

Can he? I think I'd like to meet him, although we seem to have our fair share of talking cats around here as well.

Mm, not like Pounce. He's uncanny, that animal. Maybe you can meet him, if our worlds bleed together at all. [Stares into space in silence for a moment then shakes her head.] Damn strange.

Bleed together? How does that work?

Not sure, myself. Something to do with closeness--bits of your world start bleeding into the other, can see where the other person lives, that sort of thing. S' happened to a fair few here, but I've not seen any of that myself. Don't know if that's a good or bad thing. [chuckle]

I'm guessing it's a good thing. There has to be some kind of side effects from something like that happening.

True enough. But things enough happen here that it might be nice to have someone about who understands. [Stretches. SHE HAS GIVEN YOU AN OPENING, IF YOU CHOOSE TO TAKE IT.]

[Any other day, and it might have played out differently, but today is not the best one. Not always being the quickest to pick up on openings coupled with him being in a sad mood today because of Reinette leads to a repeat of the Shakespeare Code bed scene.]

Still amazing, maybe even more so. Not everyday goddesses create forests. Although, I don't know, do you have that in your world?

Well, there's probably things we think of as commonplace that you would think were amazing.
