.:010:. - Of Delicious and Disturbed

[Willow comes in with a piece of paper in her hands, looking an odd mixture of disturbed and amused.]

... Turducken.

Has anyone actually cooked this monstrosity?

The question begs to be asked; Turducken or deep fried: which is the worse Thanksgiving disaster?

I'm definitely leaning towards the Turducken.

...What's a Turducken?

[identity profile] harmonixerdemon.livejournal.com 2008-11-08 07:00 am (UTC)(link)
What the hell? People actually cook something like that?

[identity profile] harmonixerdemon.livejournal.com 2008-11-08 07:59 am (UTC)(link)
Why stuff them all in each other? You'd think it would be easier to eat if you cooked them all separately.

...I think I'll just stick with regular food.

[See icon. Very relevant.]

... Such a thing, exists?

...

Where would they find an Ostrich?

[identity profile] gusadere.livejournal.com 2008-11-08 07:12 am (UTC)(link)
I wonder what the Osturducken would fit into... Maybe a human body?

Is this a common scenario during Thanksgiving?

[identity profile] gusadere.livejournal.com 2008-11-08 07:16 am (UTC)(link)
..... This is just an American trend, yes?

[identity profile] gusadere.livejournal.com 2008-11-08 07:19 am (UTC)(link)
Wonderful! I would have started to get worried if these things started showing up in stores.

I'm glad! It would be rather strange if suddenly everyone in my class had a......

Well, every month or so I go and set up dinner at Nagato-san's house. To hear that kind of request from her would be a bit disconcerting...

You couldn't just do turkey, or something?

[identity profile] damnfinecoffee.livejournal.com 2008-11-09 08:36 am (UTC)(link)
Then make a turkey. Or move somewhere that doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving.

I thought every holiday was the official 'stuff yourself till you fall asleep on the couch' holiday?

You could buy a large turkey. Or lots of turkeys and stuff the turkey with turkey.

Turducken: When two kinds of poultry are not enough. Only in America!

Truth be told, I think deep fried would be the better option. Everything tastes better deep fried.

Plus if you accidentally melt someone's face with the fryer, it'll make a funny story.

...Come to think of it, a deep fryer would be a good thing to have in the likely event of a random vampire attack.

Does it matter if they're made of vampires?

Vampire hunters with principles tend to get killed faster.

Yeah, but they just do that for good cliffhanger material.
