[Joint Post]

[Ianto and 'Jack' appear on the Plane, both finishing doing up their shirts.]

Look-- I really thought you were Jack when you woke up. I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable or anything.

['Jack' nods a little, fixing the shirt once it's buttoned up. Some may feel the need to get a camera to take a picture, because he's actually blushing about something.] I-it's okay.

[Ianto runs a hand through his hair, looking more than a little awkward.]
We should probably see if he's here before anyone else has the chance to talk to him...

[The awkward is definitely shared with 'Jack', who avoids looking at Ianto for now.] Mm... Hopefully, he came here as soon as he realized what happened.

((The Jack/Ryotarou body swap is now complete. Have fun, kids! ♥))

If that is your desire. I hardly care.

[:\!]

... What's it like? To travel through time? [Since their times actually operate on completely different physics.. he's curious.]

[identity profile] brigadiertardis.livejournal.com 2008-09-09 03:52 am (UTC)(link)
[blinks. change of topic, go!]

I am a being of Time. I do not understand your question. Time is always around me; I am immersed in it. Experiencing it is to me as breathing is to your species.

[identity profile] itsthecoat.livejournal.com 2008-09-09 03:54 am (UTC)(link)
... ah. I guess it doesn't work like going in and out of the desert, then.

[identity profile] itsthecoat.livejournal.com 2008-09-09 03:57 am (UTC)(link)
It's... what time is, in my reality. It's a desert, and by traveling through it, you get to different times.

[identity profile] itsthecoat.livejournal.com 2008-09-09 04:00 am (UTC)(link)
... I get that a lot, here.

[identity profile] brigadiertardis.livejournal.com 2008-09-09 04:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Time is not a desert. Explain this nonsense.

[identity profile] itsthecoat.livejournal.com 2008-09-09 04:19 pm (UTC)(link)
It is where I come from... The Doctor says my physics must be different.

[identity profile] itsthecoat.livejournal.com 2008-09-09 04:28 pm (UTC)(link)
[... small shrug] That's possible... But they work, and they're the only thing I have.

[identity profile] brigadiertardis.livejournal.com 2008-09-09 04:33 pm (UTC)(link)
So this ... desert. It is accessible to anyone?

[identity profile] itsthecoat.livejournal.com 2008-09-09 04:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Not... really? You either need a ticket or a pass to one of the trains that run through it.. and then to board on its schedule. ... Unless you own a train, yourself.

[identity profile] brigadiertardis.livejournal.com 2008-09-09 04:51 pm (UTC)(link)
[I do not have a proper brain-breaking icon, so use your imagination]

[identity profile] itsthecoat.livejournal.com 2008-09-09 04:54 pm (UTC)(link)
[Welcome to Kamen Rider Den-O, TARDIS. Please leave your logic and common sense at the door.]

... Yeah. It's a lot different from anything else I've heard about.

[identity profile] brigadiertardis.livejournal.com 2008-09-09 04:59 pm (UTC)(link)
It is a travesty. To have such access to Time, to travel so wontonly through it ... you are all mad.

[identity profile] itsthecoat.livejournal.com 2008-09-09 05:01 pm (UTC)(link)
We can only go as far back as someone's lifetime.. so we're actually pretty limited. But... I only do it out of necessity anyway.

[identity profile] brigadiertardis.livejournal.com 2008-09-09 06:54 pm (UTC)(link)
It does not matter. Any interference and you could rip the fabric of Time apart. You are all fools. This is why humans should never be given leave to travel through time.

[identity profile] itsthecoat.livejournal.com 2008-09-09 06:57 pm (UTC)(link)
[Is just very :\ at her attitude.] Peoples' memories are strong enough to fix any damage done to time to the way it should be... but if it's completely obliterated by the Imagin, even that won't be able to fix it.

[identity profile] brigadiertardis.livejournal.com 2008-09-09 07:44 pm (UTC)(link)
That does not even make any sense. If time has been altered, humans cannot retain a memory of events that did not occur.

[identity profile] itsthecoat.livejournal.com 2008-09-09 07:47 pm (UTC)(link)
... It's hard to explain if you haven't seen it, I suppose. But unless the time is completely destroyed, the memories will restore it before they're forgotten or altered.

[identity profile] brigadiertardis.livejournal.com 2008-09-09 07:50 pm (UTC)(link)
The only way that is possible is for them to be stored or trapped within a paradox. Once the paradox is removed, the altered time line returns to its rightful place and memories are restored. It cannot be done otherwise.
