[Am I in trouble? Removes his headphones] What's wrong?

We should do something for Sam. [looks expectantly at Minato]

Okay. Like what?

Gene said Sam can have time off if he'll take it. And if he takes time off, he'll need a good distraction. So we can distract him.

[nods] Have anything in mind?

Well...not really. I know what works for distracting Yasako but I don't know about Sam. Movies are good! And board games and onsen and food...

Hm... Does he like cop movies?

I don't know. You'd think so, since he's a cop and all. Unless that's too much like work for him to watch those.

I doubt his job is like the movies.

I hope not! But then it seems pretty action-packed. Maybe a super action-y cop movie. Like a Western one!

With lots of explosions?

Yes! Explosions are distracting!

All boys like explosions. [nods] So we'll rent a lot of cop movies. And, hm, what else? We should have okonomiyaki.

Sure. [He's tempted to suggest ramen to wth]

What else should we have? And we should plan other things because movies can only last about a day.

Hm. Ramen, takoyaki, a sushi platter... Maybe Sam would like to know some hacking tricks?

What about watermelon and chips and ramune? And we can definitely work on hacking skills together!

Sure. I'll help you pick everything out.

Good! Because I'm broke. [puts her hands on her hips] Will...you ask Sam about it, though? I can't think of a good reason for him to take a few days off to spend with us. [also doesn't want to ask because she's mildly frustrated no one tells her important things]

[Thinks about it...] Maybe if we said you were feeling down?...

[nods] That'll work! Not that I am, of course. [quickly adopts a more confident stance] Just Sam needs cheering up. [tilts her head, then puts her hand on Minato's arm and gives him a serious look] This is very important, Minato! You have to do this.

[sees her seriousness and straightens up a bit] I'll do my best.
