[Now that it's exactly a month later yet again, it's time for the Doctor to appear! He is unaware of the movie plot for no apparent reason, except that he is surrounded by crates of legos, so he's been busy ADDing. They boxes line up taller than him and he is currently counting them.]

Mmm, might need a few more crates. [glances around the crates and into the dark of the Plane.] Jack? You wouldn't happen to be around would you?

Oh no! I quite agree. These ones aren't plastic, though. [knocks on a crate.] Special material just for the contest.

Yep! A lego building contest on Yzama. That's what sparked the idea.

People have contests over something like that?

I've seen contests for just about anything you can think of, really. Most species are competitive. It's actually a very good evolutionary trait.

[Can't help a little smile.] It just seems a bit silly, I guess.

Oh, you should see an egg and spoon race sometime.

Egg and spoon race?

You hold a spoon in your mouth and rest an egg inside of it. Then you try to finish the race without dropping the egg.

Humans do a lot of very pointless activities. It's something they excel at.

I suppose that's very true.

Best thing is tightrope walking. Really, impressive balance and all but I do wonder who thought of it. I should find out one day.

I'm sure you could figure it out rather easily, and even go meet them if you really wanted.
