From what the Doctor’s said Tegan’s time line just doesn’t have the technology for this sort of thing. I suppose he must’ve got the coordinates wrong again. Tegan won’t be very happy.

...I should really try and find the way out, before the others start to wonder where I am. I can’t see a door, but there must be one somewhere nearby. I haven’t even moved since I arrived, so it would be illogical for there not to be. Then again, this whole place seems pretty illogical. This can’t possibly be actual space, but the constellations look so real.

Oh, Doctor... I do wish you’d realised this wasn’t Heathrow before now. Who knows how long it might take me to find a way out.
