[He'd finally worked up the courage to return, knowing full well the possibilities that may have awaited him...]

[Mu arrives with full hands - one has the top half of a skeleton, and the other has the bottom. The skelly is wearing what seems to be the half-destroyed remnants of some ancient cloth. The Aries Cloth is by his side in presentational form. Mu shoots a look up, as though willing the omniscient narrator to speak again...]

[...That Kiki may have perished, or that Saga may have gone insane again! But the one thing that happened, was the one thing he never expected...]

How astute of you to notice.

[He drops the skeleton, and it twitches, as though trying to get up. Mu stomps on it's head, crushing the skull, and it goes still.]

I grow tired of this.

There are demon gates all over in my world. And the curse zones have returned! It is all very troubling--all the more so because there is this strange music that seems to follow me around.

[Curls her tail around her paws.] I somehow get the feeling that you need someone to "rant" at right now. Feel free.

I've had the wits scared out of me twice in as many days, my heart wrenched, shot at, my student is missing and is very likely in life-threatening danger, and I fear for the mental health of my friends, as I fear these happenings have been none to kind on their psyches.

[She listens patiently and doesn't speak for a moment after Mu has finished.] That is...supremely terrible, Mu.

Your student, you mean--Kiki? [Bristles a little.] What happened to him?

He's been kidnapped by a gang in Misaki's reality.

Misaki's? Ah, then you are merging with her. [Her ears go back.] Curse it. That means I will be unable to help you get him back.

[Covered in sweat and dirt, her hair a mess, Misaki swipes a hand across her forehead and stares at him.]

Damnit.

[Little did our bold heroine know, their stories were about to intertwine, their fates mingle, in one last catastrophic--]

I'ven't been in town, Misaki. These...[He shakes the skelly] are from Jamir.

Then whatever is happening in Jamir is happening in Tokyo as well. My team--I can't find them. I've been on my own for a week, in that neighborhood. I keep ending up in the same place whenever I try to leave.

These things should be in the Cloth Graveyard...

You're stuck in that area?

Yes. There's nothing... nothing human left, that I've seen. Except for the place they keep driving me back to.

[...doesn't elaborate on the 'they', though her lips twitch, and there's an nearly imperceptible rise in the tension on her face.]

Explain.

[Pales slightly.] They look like children. They're not. They keep... forcing me back to the entrance of this old hospital. The Contractors are inside. Why they would still be there, when no-one else is--

[Guh.] I just hope my men are all right.

...Find somewhere safe. I will be along shortly.

I've been looking for somewhere safe! It doesn't matter where I go! The only place they leave me alone--the only place they leave me alone is the dark.

...Then I suggest you find somewhere dark and find something to hold on to very tightly.

[Makes a frustrated noise] I'm not going to cower in a corner.

You don't seem to have much of an option.

I am not going to hide from these things. It's one thing to try and find somewhere to sleep, [like she's been doing that] but I've lasted this long on my own. I don't need help. This experiment, whatever it is, can't possibly last much longer.

Just...Stay put if you can. I will join you shortly.

[Recognizes that skeleton] That is from the Cloth Graveyard. Why were you there?

I wasn't. I was safely inside the spire.

What? How was it able to reach the spire? They are not suppose to be able to leave the graveyard!

They're also not supposed to be able to move unless Kiki or I make them do so.

Yet it attacked you. Do you think it has something to do with this place?

It was far more than just this one. Almost all of them tried to swarm me. I'm almost sure this place is the cause of it. On the upside, it's saved me an intended trip to retrieve the cloths that have fallen down there.

At least you gained something from it. Have you had word of Kiki yet? [Not like he's going to worry if a fellow Gold Saint can take out a few skeletons..]

I know where he is. I will be going after him shortly.

I hope you manage to fetch him back quickly.
