[Here is a Ryotarou. Ryotarou has a kitten! It is black, with white splotches on its paws and face like it fell in paint. It has very pretty, green eyes, and it is currently laying against Ryotarou's chest and purring heavily; someone missed Ryotarou while he was out of his reality and on the experiment.

Obviously, kittens are awesome for barrier lowering, because Ryotarou is murmuring to himself while watching the stars!]

I suppose it is a bit my fault... isn't it?

[Minato will refrain from petting Ryotarou's pussy for the moment.]

Doing well?

[Oh well. Ryotarou shifts a bit, and shrugs. He puts on a small smile meant for reassurance.]

I'm alright. How about you?

Fine.

That's good.

[Nods. Well that lasted a while! He'll pet the cat now, if you don't mind.]

[Is it a new record? As it is, Regulus purrs and turns half-way so Minato has access to his stomach, if he would be so kind.]

[I think they've had shorter... Tummy rubs for the kitty on Ryotarou's tummy!]

[But have they had longer? Regulus, after a moment, nips at Minato's hand playfully.]

Minato has had Cy's claws digging into his pants. Playful nips are nothing. He'll be wiggling his fingers a bit for the cat.]

Regulus mrrows and tries to grab at the wiggling fingers. Ryotarou watches, a bit bemused and amused at the same time — he's not sure if he should stop it or just sit back for the show.]

[I looked because I'm easily distracted :3

Minato wouldn't care, but Regulus might. Minato lets the cat catch his fingers.]

[Regulus grips at Minato's fingers and begins to nibble and nom happily, possibly trying to twist them around for a better angle, now purring very, very loudly indeed. Ryotarou looks up at Minato, unsure if he should keep letting it go on. :x]

[No, it's okay! He's faced Shadows much stronger than this. Though it's probably not a good idea to teach a kitten that eating humans is A-OK, so he'll withdraw his hand.]

[Regulus twitches his tail for a few moments to see if the hand will be back... but when it isn't, he squirms and tries to hop away from Ryotarou so he can attack Minato's hand on his own. Ryotarou just holds and pets him to try and keep him from doing just that.] Ah...!

... [Regulus still wants to play, and Minato figures a dangling toy might be safer than his hand, so... He'll be dangling his MP3 player by the headphone wire! He's not listening to it right now anyway.]

[Regulus starts to bat at the player, attempting to pull it closer and get it into his mouth. Ryotarou glances up to Minato.] Are you sure that's alright...?

... [You're right! It isn't a very good idea, is it? Minato pulls it back, removes the battery, and then lets Regulus have at it again.]

Aren't you worried he might damage it? [Regardless, the kitten renews his batting, clawing and gnawing at the toy, having a ball while doing so.]

[Shrugs.] Not really.

No? [Rrreow, says Regulus as he continues to play.]

[Minato bounces it around so it's more exciting.] Should I?

[Regulus flails about for a moment while trying to grasp it, forcing Ryotarou to readjust his hold or drop the kitten.] I don't think so... although he might scratch the display.

That's alright. [Lets the cat catch it.]

If you're sure... [Regulus proceeds to hold it with his front paws, kick at it with his back, and gnaw at the top of it all at the same time.]
