[Henrietta is cradling a small potted plant protectively against her chest, looking back and forth as though someone might appear to take it from her. Quietly, she tells it,]

I'll take you back later, after I talk to him, okay? I know there's no sun, but we'll find someplace nice. I promise.

He was in the hotel where we were working, and then he took me from there to his flat. He said we were in Mayfair, which I guess is in London, but I never left Rome.

... Remember when I said I think he cast a spell on you?

You said that it was because he wanted to protect me.

Right. And I still stand by that.. even if it was a little extreme. But, he's got no obligation to this Signore Hilshire.

He's your friend. He wants to protect you. But, he doesn't even know Hilshire; so... if he doesn't care for him, he wouldn't be opposed to making Hilshire let you go with him.
