[Ryotarou appears on the Plane, hand poised behind his back. His expression is nervous, but hopeful. He takes a breath... and pulls out the Zeronos belt. He grins widely at this final sign that things are back to normal.]

It looks like it's all over. Completely, now.

(ooc: So... yes. Crow's getting swamped in schoolwork and everything, so we decided to end the experiment early. Everything is back to the way it should be, with slight mergers between the two involved and, of course, the absorbed mannerisms. Hope you guys had fun. ♥)

Sometimes it does, but not always. If it's big enough, a parallel world is created. If it's small, the universe will compensate around the change.

Not quite, no. Time's fluid -- infinitely in flux.

That you're aware of, at least, yeah. But-- here, let me put it this way:

Let's say you're walking down a hallway, and it goes off into two different directions. After a flip of a coin that was conveniently sitting in your pocket, you decide to head right. But, at the exact same moment, a parallel you flipped a coin and went left. Now, you're both heading down these separate hallways, neither you aware of the other's existence, and yet you're both still going off on your merry ways.

Make sense?

I... suppose it does, in theory, but... If that were true, we wouldn't have to fight the Imagin now, would we? Both futures would have just split off into parallel versions.

It's possible it could, yeah, but it's not always the case. Either way, you're fighting for your own future, right?

In any case, the mechanics of my world might or might not apply to yours -- after all, you travel through time by way of a desert of memories in a train, and I travel through time by way of the time vortex.

Usually in a machine that's bigger on the inside, that's grown and not made. [Nods along.]

Generally, if the circumstances are good! Don't always need the TARDIS, though it's definitely preferable.

What else would you use?

Vortex manipulators get the trick done, generally -- not the most reliable things, but it gets the job done. Sort of like using a piece of tape to stop up a leak.
