[On the Plane appears a large mound of rubble, shifting uneasily as though it were just placed there and didn't have time to settle. A slightly corroded pillar stands next to the mound, teetering back and forth before it balances and stays where it is.

For a moment, nothing happens. Then... the rubble shifts and a hand pops out. It waves around before it finds good purchase among the rest of the debris, and soon, Ryotarou pulls himself out of the mess and rolls off the mound, stopping on his side. He's dirty and bloodied, and there are rips in his clothing where the sharper pieces broke through. The smaller cuts have healed already, but the larger ones are taking longer.

As it is, he just lets his head fall to the 'ground' and breathes in the fresh air.]

That's Perseus. He slew the snake-headed monster, Medusa. [a pause] It's also where the Perseids meteor shower seems to originate, and where the name came from.

Cygnus, the swan. There are a few stories involved with that one. At the tail end, that brightest star-- that's Deneb. [He smiles at this and looks for Ryotarou's reaction.]

[He gives a surprised glance to Yuuto, then looks back to the stars he pointed out.. and smiles a little once he spots it.] Deneb...

[Omg. He got Ryotarou to smile! Yuuto beams a little in response.] Vega and Altair are nearby, and if you connect them, they form the Summer Triangle. You know the story behind that, right? That's what Tanabata is about.

[Ryotarou looks around until he thinks he's spotted the other two stars, and nods.] I know a bit.

[His attention switches from the stars to Yuuto, and he blinks.] Fmphm...?

[... Ryotarou silently hands Yuuto his glass of water.]

[Yuuto blinks, then takes the glass and gulps down half of it just to a) prove his point and b) wash away the taste of GUILT.]
