[Ianto appears on the Plane, gun drawn and looking far from happy.  He gets straight to the point, because he's clearly not in the mood for small talk... no prizes for guessing why he's so angry and who he's blaming.]

It wasn't going to eat me. I figured you were capable enough that you'd have it knocked out before it did any damage I couldn't pass off as a flesh wound.

It took her a while to go down, so she probably would've managed to inflict some pretty serious injury.
