[A young girl appears on the Plane in mid-stride with her pinky and thumb spread out near her face, like she's talking on the phone.]

--again. But as long as Densuke's with her...

[Yasako freezes as she notices her surroundings. She makes a motion like she's pushing a button in midair to hang up and her hands come up defensively.]

Wha...what's going on? Some kind of prank? D-Daichi, this isn't funny!

[She looks around a bit frantically.] But...could Daichi come up with something like this? This is...

[Her eyes widen.] Obsolete Space? No way...it couldn't be, could it?

Obsolete Space? Are you from the future? [Regarding you curiously, Yasako.] This is the Astral Plane. There are a whole bunch of different people here. Everything freezes back home while you're here--time doesn't go by at all.

I don't know about any urban legends, but this probably isn't 'the other side' that you're thinking of. It's a place that seems to exist outside any individual world.

[Puts a gentle hand on her shoulder, going to reassuring. Haruki, who is learning to heel, whines from next to Misaki's ankle.]

I'm from Tokyo, 2008, in a world where Hell's Gate exists and Heaven's Gate was destroyed six years ago. Do either of those things sound familiar to you, Yuko-chan?

These Twins and this woman want to experiment on us. But they haven't done anything too terrible yet. Or at least nothing bad to me. It feels like a weird Obsolete Space, ne?
