02 ~ Wolf and Wares

{Here is Horo, sitting with a wooden wagon full of all kinds of goods. There's armor, swords, food, furs, an nearly anything you could imagine for a medieval merchant to carry. She had promised Lawrence that she would perform a bit of business only suitable for a wise wolf like she, but really it's more like bringing their wares to the Plane in hopes of trading them off for something more valuable. So she stands in the driver's seat and picks up one of the furs to show off.}

It's a special offer to all of you, since Lawrence ended up buying just a bit too much of everything, it seems like! Our wares are only of the highest quality, fit for even the Lords of whatever land you may live in. I have anything from fresh fruits from the Far East to the softest furs collected from the fruit eating animals of the Far North.

Of course, money would be an issue, so if you are interested I ask for anything of reasonable value to your world. I seek to trade for valuable items so that Lawrence and I can fill our bellies without worry and travel from town to town with ease.

{She grins and takes a seat, setting the fur in her lap} Fufufu, though even if you have no interest in our items, I ask you come forward anyways! There are many strange humans here, and not-humans, for that matter! I think it unsettling for one such as myself with the title of the Wise Wolf of Kenro to not know of other worlds, so I would gladly take the opportunity to converse with any that are so willing!

You can't just sell some of the stuff back?

It is possible, but that way, we end up losing money rather than breaking even or possibly even making a profit. We have a few potential buyers for these leftovers, but they are not offering much more than the sell-back prices. Besides that, that armory we purchased the weapons and armor from is easily a three day trip by wagon to the South, and we are heading North.

Well... as far as the weapons go, they're pretty outdated for a lot of the people here.

Then they are a priceless antique. From what I had heard, it seems that people of the future greatly value things of the past.

But these are merely leftovers from a day's trades. Lawrence and I are trying to make the best profit, so I guessed that bringing them here would be a useful try. Besides, there is no time lost in the process!

Probably a good idea. The people around here like being able to buy things from other worlds.

{Oh man, Hei, Horo is in love with you. She takes the bowl gingerly, her tail wagging excitedly, but that delicacy is all but lost as she starts to eat. Horo gulps down the soup quickly, even licking at the bowl once she's eaten it all. She looks up with soup still on her face, but she grins} It is quite good! It is a unique taste, like something from the West, I would guess!

{Then she laughs} But I hope those people come to visit! I would love to get rid of these furs especially!

Lawrence is a merchant, yes. I am merely traveling with him and offering my advice and wisdom as the Wise Wolf of Kenro in exchange for him transporting me to my homeland in Yoitsu.

Some of them! We sold a good many of them today, but these are leftovers. And as much as I would love things of interest, I would rather prefer food, drink, and board for both Lawrence and I. So I would have to ask for gold, silver, or anything else I can sell in exchange.

They are the softest furs you could purchase. {Grins} And they do not bear the stink of skins! In fact, if you smell, they smell like fruits.
