[ She's a bit hard to recognise when all bundled up, but Nanoha is here, wearing a woolen hat, a winter coat, and some mittens. Steam rises from the foil-wrapped thing she has in her hands, which on closer inspection turns out to be a sweet potato, which she's cautiously munching on. ]

It'll be Christmas soon, so Papa and Mama have been really busy making cookies and cakes. Big brother and big sister took my friends and me to roast sweet potatoes.

Huh...weird! It's like a potato, but...delicious! [Fiddles with the foil.] This is metal, isn't it? How did you get it so thin? It's like paper!

It's called foil, but I don't really know how they make it... It keeps things warm without burning your hands.

It's called a sweet potato. I'll get one for you! [ Nanoha blinks off the Plane, only to reappear shortly with a foil-wrapped thing that resembles a small football. ] Where I'm from, we roast these when it's cold, and they're really sweet and yummy.

{Horo gladly takes the potato and peels off the foil, sniffing curiously at it} A potato? This is?

{And she takes a bit, then grinning} Fufu, it does not taste like a potato at all!

It grows in the ground like normal potatoes, but it doesn't taste much like a regular potato. They're really good with butter and cinnamon!
